Jordan Stephen

I’m attorney Jordan Stephen (previously I practiced law under the name of Jordan Grube).  I know that speaking with a divorce lawyer can be scary and nerve racking. I try hard to relate to my client about what they are going through and am happy to explain the process and all the options so my clients understand what to expect.  I want you to know that I have a passion for advocating for families in distress.  I pride myself on working hard to help clients and I am compassionate and yet still can be aggressive when needed.  My clients will tell you that I am committed to them and am a strong  reliable  advocate.  Because I grew up in a military family, I learned at an early age how to be versatile and resilient.  It’s also important to know that I have extensive experience in the courtroom including hearings and trials.  

Over the last several years, I have handled numerous trials and hearings and am known for being well prepared in the court room.   It’s also important for my client to understand that not every case has to end with a trial.  I have a firm belief in the importance of collaboration and empathy and I approach each case with a commitment to walk alongside the client throughout the legal process.  My goal as your attorney will always be to achieve positive outcomes and to ensure your voice is heard and your rights are protected. 

My areas of practice include family law (divorce, adoption, child custody disputes, child support, termination of parental rights, etc.)  I also work on general litigation cases and personal injury, auto accidents, and dog bite claims.  

When I am not fighting for my clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes!
